Character Name: Gerard Charles Halcyon
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Class: Jedi Consular
Weapon: One (1) Single bladed yellow lightsaber (primary weapon), one (1) single bladed lightsaber with a violet (purple) Bondar crystal, and one (1) concealed hold-out blaster (make and model to follow as soon as I find my book)
Appearance: Medium frame, shoulder length dirty-blonde hair pulled back in a loose ponytail, short goatee, light blue eyes. Main 'saber hangs from his left hip while the back-up is clipped to his belt in the rear, horizontally.
Clothing: Grey Jedi Robe ((unused after first bout)) covering a black Corellian flightsuit with light wear.
Short Bio: (for more, please see full character bio) While in combat with an opponent wielding a single bladed 'saber, Gerard would more than likely attack using Form IV: Ataru, always keeping on the move with precise footwork and fluid movements. Many acrobatics would be used but nothing flashy. Not many force-focused attacks would be used while in combat with this form.

Gerard's main objective in any battle is to either excite or ridicule his opponent with words while staying on the defensive should words fail to keep the conflict from ensuing. While combating against any other kind of opponent (anything not one-on-one lightsaber duel) and while exchanging words, Form VI: Niman would be in use. This would allow him to an even defense and offense, enabling him to improvise depending on the situation.

Gerard Halcyon has no reason to battle and will always be on constant defense, absorbing all energy (while not using Form IV), healing himself and using his surroundings to leave his opponent with a disadvantage. Clearly faulted by his undying hatred for Bounty Hunters and his crippling thirst for new knowledge of the force, Gerard will attempt to avoid conflict at all costs but faces opponents with a fierce vigor not shown in daily rituals. A scoundrel's charisma shows in his character.

Thanks. I hope it doesn't come off as a G-M... There are plenty of weaknesses that anyone can expose but, I wanted to post an offensive type so opponents will see the style of combat Gerard uses. Please gimme some feedback guys.

-single-bladed, hand-and-a-half handled lightsaber with a deep violet blade, silver-based hilt with black grip and black around the egde of the blade emitter.
-short, simple cortosis blade dagger (received from his late Aunt)
Appearance:
-Bahn is about 6'3", with deep rustic brown skin, no hair, 4 fingers on each hand, a simple anti-ox mask and anti-ox goggles is always worn, slim but still very muscular
-wears a base of black leather-type underlay, with black cortosis armor plates on his chest, shins and forearms/hands with red accents on all three, a simple belt is worn around his waist which holds his saber and dagger, black boots (the plates are worn over the boots)
-brown cloak is worn just as a shawl, not a traditional Jedi robe
Bio:
Born in 11ATC, Bahn has always shown Force potential but wasn't encouraged to study the Force as a Jedi until he met his Aunt Sel Kahl, who was a Smuggler for the Republic and wanted more than the Baran Do Sage for him. After several arguments with his parents (namely his father) he ran from Dorin with his Aunt at the age of 14 to travel to Tython.
Unfortunately, the simple flight was delayed several times by jobs for Sel and Empirial raids and blockades. **more on these to come, safe to say Bahn's will to fight for the people and the Republic were strengthened along these tales**
After a year and a half of traveling, ducking blaster bolts, studying with several mentors, Bahn finally arrived at Tython where he began a very intense, but unorthodox study of the Jedi arts. Not satisfied with the singular view of the Force that the Jedi held, Bahn sought to learn more about the strength he could gain without having to give in to the Dark side. He just wants to be guaranteed that he could be able to protect as many people as he can.

And to boot, I can answers your questions easily.

Can you win by forfeit? Yes, the only requirement is that you defeat your foe. How you do so is up to you.
Collateral Damage? Any amount you want short of blowing up the Temple.
Battle Format? Each individual battle will be prearranged by the Judges so that each battle is unique. From there, the contestants are free to do as they will in the environment.
