Re: The music-thread
For those Industial/Metal lovers out there (Like me) I got one for ya. This one is also good for those of you that like ArchEnemy.
Also, I have to say, "7 Deadly Sins" is a good one but Flogging Molly's best is their live versions of "Salty Dog" "Drunken Lullabies" and "If I Ever Leave This World Alive"... Yes.. Yes they are... I've seen them live... And I don't care what kind of music you like, it WILL be THE best show you ever see if you aren't into ICP... ICP has the best live show EVER...
Also, ICP is THE best hip-hop/rap group as far as I'm concerned. They've been self-promoting their stuff for YEARS without a SINGLE penny from any record label and their last album "Bang! Pow! Boom!" peaked on the Billboard charts "200" at #4 and stayed steady at #1 on the "Independant" charts. If you don't like hip-hop, you should still give them a listen cuz some of their songs are pretty funny.
This one is Violent J's last solo project video. It'll give you a couple good laughs if you watch the whole thing. Not to mention, it's catchy..
Now, I know I've posted enough so far but, here is another song. My homie and I play this song all the time for his kids cuz they like ICP. But, if you will, take a moment to put your hip-hop ignorance away for just a moment and listen to this song, you'll understand why this song is more inspiring than you'd ever believe...

The two bands that my daughter Anberlyn Haley Moyers is named after:
We used the band's name Anberlin but changed the spelling:
The lead singer's name is Hayley Williams (changed the spelling here as well):

Got one more for the metal-heads here...
In case you don't know, these guys are probably THE biggest thing in REAL Heavy Metal today- Amon Amarth - "Rune To My Memory"
I like to play it when I'm in PvP on WoW. on when farming mats to throw on the AH.

Haha, I love ArchEnemy, but Otep is quite different IMO. The reason why I love ArchEnemy is the f'ing awesome Amott bother's Melodic guitar riffs and solos, intense drums and Angela Gossow's frantic energy and disturbing tiger growl. (if you've ever seen her live you'll know what I mean, shes like a bloody firecracker on speed)
BTW, While we are on topic, someone here asked me on MSN what a Skeleton Dance is? (I can't recall who)
this is Skeleton Dance.

Nostalgia time!!
Piano Re-Mixes of game music might not be your thing, but trust me when I say this will bring back some memories.

Re: The music-thread
While I listen to relatively little music (Ipod currently has 16 songs), I DO love me orchestral pieces. This is 'Hello Beastie' by Hans Zimmer, the music accompanying Jack Sparrow's death in PotC2. I love death themes.
If any of you have seen the movie, then you know the "Well crap, you got me" look Jack has in this piece.
Also, I love pirates.

Got something special for the metal-heads!
If you can't get down to these guys, you haven't ever heard any REAL heavy-metal...

Re: The music-thread
Not bad but I'm more into the hard rock/metal than the heavy stuff, although I can get down to it,
More stuff like this:
Also, I'm probably going to this concert, some pretty good bands I think and quite a few mentioned here in the thread,
