Art Thread!

So I just noticed that no one has made a thread for stuffs they've made, animations, drawings, computer, paper? Anything like that needs a nice home.

The first step of making my silly little avatar up there, spoiler'd for size.

Great pics! If I find a camera/scanner I'll probably post the headless Tor picture I'm working on.

Also, if you have any tips for drawing ... well, good I suppose, I (and possibly other guild members) would be very appreciative!

Tips for drawing good eh? Well my first tip is draw in a well lit area. . . Make sure you have a GOOD eraser, because sometimes you get those hard, stupid ones that leave pink marks everywhere. Make sure you have a large area to draw on, like, large enough to sit on comfortably. . . I use the side panel to my computer, which I just pry off whenever I feel like drawing. Scanners are much better than cameras, as you can see from my failpics that I posted. Spend a lot of time making it good! Those three sad little drawings took me eleven hours total. . . Last but not least, listen to Gemini Club the entire time.

Practice makes perfect!

Hrml, maybe I shall post the comic strips I have been making in my chemistry class (2 so far), although they are stick figure level and terrible.
Or I might do the trooper drawings I have been making also in chem class, also terrible but slightly better than stick figures.

What does anyone thinK?

Edit edit edit!: I've taken about three dozen pictures of one drawing but the camera just hates it SO MUCH that the file is corrupt every single time! So, you only get one more picture of Latiel and her ridiculously long hair.

Eventually I'll get better, and figure out how to shade properly, and make things look. . . Not so 2-D. Until then, I get to keep practicing, and churning out mediocre drawings.

A word of caution: In RP threads, people will often ask to take over your character for a brief scene. If Kev asks this, DO NOT CONSENT. He loves to put characters through hell (or at least his) and the relative happiness/innocence of your drawings will draw him out like steak for a lion. In a trenchcoat.
