I finally got around to using a scanner, so here are my first two attempts at drawing Tor;

It's a good initial sketch/model Tor! Now that you got it into the computer, you can start using photoshop to redo the lines and features closer to what you had imagined.

Atleast, that's what I did with the Blaster pistol that I drew.

How do you render like that? Is it a tool or do you have enough skill to manually add the shading effect?

Erm, I takes a little bit of experience I guess, I spent a fair bit of time in the past just screwing around with the various features of photoshop.

So you can actually get all that done just by photoshop alone, without importing any textures are anything.

TBH it still looks hideous compared to some of the bettered rendered weapons out there. But like I said, relatively, I'm super new at this type of stuff.

You could always "obtain" it. If not, there are two free programs on the internet for download that are, while not quite as good as Photoshop, pretty good.

One is Gimp and the other Paint.net
