When the email says my account has been updated or whatever.. am I in? Do I really need to do the system scan?..

Rather just send in a txt file..

Whats wrong with it? I'm pretty sure you will have to however.

I got it all to function correctly as far as I could tell.

(Although I didn't get a confirmation email, are you supposed to?)

I used the latest IE after clearing all data (cookies, cache blah blah etc).

Using the latest firefox, cleared all cookies and tried again.

Got through to the system scan, and submitted it.. but then it sent me back to the agreement of terms page.

So instead I sent a help file through to see if my file has been sent through or not.

I've tried a few times, keeps looping....
Bloody annoying I must say.

Wait, so if I clicked submit and complete after the scan ad then it takes me back to the "Become a tester page" does that mean it worked?

They don't need to thank us for this opportunity heh. But yeah, if you all got the same thing then it should be good to go on my end.

When it takes you back to that page it should say:

"Congratulations, you have completed the sign up process to test Star Wars: The Old Republic. Click below if you wish to update your information."

and the button says 'Update your details".

Took me over 100 tries but I got it.

I hear ya same here, 4 or 5 update emails. When it first got them i was like OMG my accounts been hacked, like changing password. I think it was normal well (not normal) but i think everyone that signed up when we did all got them 4 updates. I know 6 or 7 others that told me same thing. I signed up RIGHT after the website come back up the first time before anyone knew about the sign ups. But still people catch stuff like that quick and the website even though it seemed to runs smooth was pretty close to its traffic limit causing problems.

But look on the bright side it could be like rafael tickets, are names are in 4 times :) more of a chance to win (jk)

If you was talking to me, yeah I knew that takes you back there right after you sign up. I was just talking about them emails.

Ah you are still getting them over and over gain, i just got about 4 of them right after i signed up yesterday morning.

It varies. Sometimes I'll get one other times I can get upto 3.

I just applied. It took me a few tries (and screaming at my screen because of the looping it was doing and the constant signing out that was going on), but I eventually got it.
They have a small note on the webpage for the application talking about the systems being a problem and that they're trying to rectify the situation.
