Star Wars Knowledge

With the blessing of our guild leader I'm gonna start an area where we can post some Star Wars info for everyone's viewing pleasure. I wanted to start off with the different Light Saber forms.

Lightsaber Forms
Seven basic forms:
Form I: Shii-Cho "Way of the Sarlacc" or "Determination Form"
Form II: Makashi "Way of the Ysalamir" or "Contention Form"
Form III: Soresu "Way of the Mynock" or "Resilience Form"
Form IV: Ataru "Way of the Hawk-Bat" or "Aggression Form"
Form V: Shien / Djem So "Way of the Krayt Dragon" or "Perseverance Form"
Form VI: Niman "Way of the Rancor" or "Moderation Form"
Form VII: Juyo / Vaapad "Way of the Vornskr" or "Ferocity Form"

Other Lightsaber Forms:
Shien - attacking many foes at once with wide, sweeping strokes and an underhand grip
Jar'Kai - two-handed lightsaber combat, using one blade for attack, another for defense
Lus-ma - only once mentioned, used by Grievous' MagnaGuards
Form "Zero" - avoiding combat when not necessary
Dun Möch - distracting and taunting an opponent, a Sith technique
Trispzest - a type of aerial dueling
Double-bladed lightsaber combat
Lightwhip combat
Tràkata - taking advantage of a lightsaber's ability to be turned quickly on and off

Some Famous Jedi and their most used forms:
Master Yoda - Ataru
Mace Windu - Vaapad
Count Dooku - Makashi
Darth Zannah - Dun Moch (Darth Banes apprentice)

I really do hope you can learn what you wish.

In some ways I dont want to be forced to learn every style, as I want to master Makashi more than the other styles.

It would be really sweet if they have the different styles in the game. I'm guessing they might have it where you would know every style eventually kinda like in KOTOR II. But would be cool if you could only master a couple that you wanted to focus on.

Yeah that would be nice. Else you will get the wow effect....
I get really onnoyed when i start healing using 4 different heals wich all have the same emote thingie...... then i start doing some damage spells and guess what still doing the same
focking thing! :(

I would do the same, I hope for one green and one blue lightsabers because that is the combination I have used since playing jedi academy online.

Does anyone else have some Star Wars Knowledge they would like to add to the discussion?
Arashi got us going with a nice post about combat styles.

when im playing either kotor 1 or 2 i will always use the two handed light saber form with both of the light sabers voilet, thats my fav crystal colour
