E3 2010

So the E3 convention is coming up very soon in a few days, hopefully going to release some really good game titles (Deus Ex 3, w00t!) so this is just a thread to speculate what you think will be released and what will be said during the E3.

Maybe Bioware will announce space combat for SWTOR?

O_O So many things that could happen... haha

I don't want to speculate too much over what's going to, and what's not going to, happen at E3 this year. Last year was the first year that I ever paid attention to it and I was kind of disappointed. I mean, nothing that they showed us from TOR was more than what we knew save for "Fully voiced" (which was already rumored by then), Coruscant (come on, you really are surprised that it's in there), and the cinematic.... okay now that was cool, but there are only so many hundred times that you can watch that before you're pining for something else.

Hopefully, with the game potentially being released the year that follows this E3, we'll see more coming from BioWare concerning TOR.

Perhaps E3 can be the start of a new lot of SWTOR updates that will release the core features of the game?
In other news too Valve has cancelled talking about Portal 2 for E3 and are doing something else, possibly a new game or Half Life episode 3.

I think so Tyren, at least to an extent. I'm very optimistic as to this year's E3 actually, probably (but not certainly, I might had been anyways) because of the several posts' from developers' at the game-site, where they express lots of excitement over the upcoming event. I do not recall this kind of behavior at last year's E3.

I think I'll have school during E3 so I'll have to look at some of the coverage videos on IGN.

Yup on the main site now they have a complete article section devoted to E3 2010.
Nothing of the sort was even discussed at last years lead up to the event. If they are excited then I am pinning some hope for a big reveal this year, and as I have said in the upcoming weeks and months!

There will definitely be another cinematic trailer one of the articles on SWTOR says so that will be good. More clips to butcher into recruitment videos.

I am really looking forward on some new info on TOR and not some small bits and pieces... something like a confirmed release date would be nice....

It was leaked....and it was possibly better than the last three movies combined!!

I would take them making star wars with grafix like that, especially with the new star wars tv show coming out soon.

very happy on the PVP front hope they are same as Warhammer scenarios

I like how the trailer reminds me of the prequel trilogy/I, II and III.
Also now that ships have been confirmed maybe their is hope for guild bases of some sort.

Not really. They are releasing Portal 2 on 360 and PS3. That's about all the Valve news I've heard.

Valve has always been more of a PC developer, last I heard they had a ton of trouble porting Team Fortress 2 and some of their newer games to the Xbox and PS3.

Wow that trailer was amazing! Hehe how good do troopers look! Damn Bioware this game is still 8-12 months away and I am super hyped all over again.... oh the humanity
