Off Topic: Riddle Game!

Hello again everyone!

A thing that I have found quite fun on forums is to get a riddle game going.

Essentially a riddle is posted, and if you can post back with the answer, you win, and get to dazzle the rest of us with one of your own riddles!

I'll start off, obviously;


Thin I am fast,
Fat I am slow,
Fire is my foe.
What am I?

(No, the answer is not "A bad riddle")

Funny, but sadly, no.
And if you were fat, wouldn't you drive around more, and be faster?

dont have a car..... I cycle.... and not fat.... most would say I could use some fat....
I still dont like fire

Steak.

A thin piece cooks fast. A fat piece cooks slow. Fire is what cooks it.

Fire is obviously the foe of steak because after the fire is done with it the steak is consumed/destroyed = bad for the steak.

So VERY close, but alas, no.

You are on the right track, it does involve the speed at which something burns.

However, it could be argued that fire is steak's friend, makes them delicious.

Think more low tech.
