Wow, Nostalgia

haha, it's weird being back here, even temporarily.


But just a recap, for those of you who are wondering what is going on.

Most recently we've been experiencing some minor to serious issues on the current holo.net forums. The most serious of which is a break down in coding causing some members who have been unable to log in for the past few days.

So it was decided that we would roll back to this forums until things have been resolved to a stable conclusion.

In the mean time, let's move the party back to here! =D But don't get comfortable eh?

I much prefer this over the 'new' forums anyway..

Unless something horrible happens during the repairs at oufholo.net we will still have all those existing posts. However if you post anything important here it will remain open for viewing (so you can copy it over) even after we return to the newer site (as it always has).

The new, new one will be more like this.

The 'new' one needed a lot more attention/testing before use..

I can handle sitting in a game thats buggy, but I don't like forums in the first place.

So getting set up on a new one that frustrated the hell out of me..

I think I feel like the old forums had much more 'room'.

The lay out was alot wider and everything was more reasonable size. Where as the new site felt like it was made for nearsighted people without glasses. Or kids. Basically, everything was too big and took up too much room/space.

Plus the e-mail notification for the old forum was 10000000000x more reliable. I find myself using the e-mail notification to track when a reply has come in and to reply as soon as possible. So I tend to keep track of what is happening on the 'new' forums way more erratically.

We should have more control in the future, when we have it done by a guild member (or several) rather than outsourced development.

All in all it should be rock solid at its base. I mean no one should ever be unable to log in unless kicked/banned from the group. In any event it would be nice if you could use this forum but port your new URL to this one... hrms

Funny how much I missed this sight...it just seems so welcoming.

The colors are nice and the dark background is warm to look at I agree but the new site will pay off some day I'm pretty sure.

Awww I love the look of the old site. We sure have made a lot of nerd memories brothers.

This place seems pretty fancy delicious with its emoticons, text, and... uhhh... interface!
Bright neon colors kinda freak me out a little bit though.

it is good to be back. Was worried for a second there was some hate on Fil and my account was banned. Thankfully it was just the forum. Not that, that is a good thing, but better than banned.

Welcome back maties. And those who havn't been here before. This was the 'old' forums. Where alot of history happened.

Most of us have had great times here, so there is alot of nostalgia going on coming back here.

Bladen reporting in . This is my first time being here. I find it outdated compared to the other site :P It will suffice though. I kept getting errors on the old site saying my account was suspended. I was freaking out thinking I got kicked out for some reason. Then I checked back later and I got 404 error stuff and I thought the guild had disbanned lol. Well its glad that it was nothing
