I very well agree, I didnt think that there was much interaction with the Chiss until after the Galactic Civil War....though the Sith might have had interactions long before the Republic even knew about them.

If you look at what we know the Chis have been having their input into things for quite some time and it wouldnt suprise me if they had things to do with the expansive sith empire back then. They are very imperialised and this is where that may of come from and with the break down of things that is why they might of gone back to Csilla but there are references of sith interacting in affairs back to 3951 BBY.

hmm, I looked over again and apparently the Rattataki are going to be playable too.

And for the Chis, yeah thats a bit plausible but the fact that they not really made a big appearance in the old republic does not mean they are not there.

I think the Chiss were there for a long time but were a neutral species and they weren't involved in a major war till the Galactic Alliance Vs Corellia and the Jacan Solo VS everyone else war.

Jasterk you are right i think the outbound project was their first out and out involvement with the "Known Space" but I think with a species and culture like the Chiss we can only guess at what their involvement in the past was. With people like Thrawn around could he of been the only one who saw actions that needed to be completed for the benefit of their race?
