Welcome addition to the HOD's

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Garr Talon has accepted the offered position of Procurator of Justice.
Garr comes to us with a ton of experience in the Justice Department and will be replacing Arashi who resigned suddenly last week.

Grats with your new position!

Thank you all. When I first came to OUF 1 year ago I aspired to be the Procurator of Justice. The then vacant GV position was open and I could have applied for it and might have gotten it too since we were such a new guild. However I stuck to my guns. I wanted to do what I knew I could do best and not just what was available. Since then I have held 9 ranks in OUF from cadet, to General, to Honorary Elder. I have held every position the Judicial Committee has, as well, from Junior Chancellor to High Chancellor. Let me say this to all members who seek to fill a higher role in this guild: OUF rewards it's loyal members and recognizes your commitment. Yes it did take me a year to finally reach the position I hoped to fill a year ago, but I can now honestly say that I feel like I have earned this spot and am experienced enough in this department to lead it into the future. Stay focused, loyal, and active and you can achieve any position in OUF with enough time and effort.

As for the JC, while there is going to be some minor tweaks in the day to day, our original commitments to OUF are just as strong as ever. The JC's role as enforcer of the charter and court of this guild is something that I take very serious. Our guild's foreign policy is also of great importance and I will continue to ensure that every decision with regards to diplomacy is made with OUF's best interests in mind.

While JC members are directly responsible for ensuring that members abide by the Charter, even though we try, we cannot be everywhere at once. I want to remind all members that as a part of OUF it's not only your responsibility to ensure your compliance with the Charter but also to report any actions by other members who don't to a JC member. It's your guild and you should be proud of it. Don't let others disrespect your guild by not following the guidelines we set to ensure fairness and function of our guild.

Glad to here the news Garr, but at the same time I morn the loss of a friend.
