Toran
Hello everyone at OotUF
I'm looking to join an awesome Oceanic guild that caters to all play styles in SWTOR, and you guys seem to fill that category niceley.
I'm a 16 year old yr11 student in north shore sydney, and my characters name will proably be Toranilor, or Toran-something, as it is a thing of mine to name all my rpg char's toran-something. I've been MMO gaming for about two years now, most of that time belonging to LotRO, but some time spent on PotBS and War. My forum/internet name for just about everyrthing is Toranilor, so if you see that annywhere, its me. I first heard about SW:tOR from some LOTRO mates, and from the mmorpg.com listings.
I hope you find it logical within your infinite wisdom to accept me into your ranks :)
Also, I dont expect any of you to be able to pronounce Toranilor. I'd request to be abbreviated to Tor, but thats what most of us are abbreviating SW:tOR to, so just call me what you like.

Welcome Toran!
Have you had a chance to read through our charter? and guild history?

Re: Toran
Good to hear,
Did you also check out the ranks page? I think our rank structure is a little bit different to the norm for a MMO guild but we have confidence that it will be effective.
What do you think of it?

Re: Toran
I love your ranks page, especially how you have organised everyone into different task groups. Everyone can do their duties better that way. In my LOTRO guild, we bareley had ranks, people just did things.. was kind of hard being raid leader, weapon crafter and recruiter..
Your system is MUCH easier.

Re: Toran
On another thread you mentioned that you would like your LoTRO guild to migrate here as you don't want to leave them.
Does that mean you will leave us if they do?

Nay,
I said i diddn't want to leave LOTRO because of my kinmates, but when swtor comes out most of us will probably break off and do our own thing, then I will be free to stay at OUF.
We've tried making a WAR guild before, failed.

I don't think they will make the transition, as half of them, most probably the majority of the officers, will stay with LOTRO, but I'd rather stick with OUF, if i want to hang out with my kinmates I'd go on LOTRO, and I'd rather be part of a more structured guild in KOTOR than the structure of my LOTRO guild.
