Ban Durm
Name: Ban Durm
Age: 24
Location: New York, USA
Gaming Background: (MMO) WoW and CoH //// (SW) KotOR I & II, Jedi Knight II & III, Rogue Squadron, The Phantom Menace, Republic Commando
Personal Background: I'm a huge fan of the Star Wars Universe and all of the lore that goes along with it. I haven't avidly followed the EU much, but I think I know enough and I'm usually researching to learn more.
I'm a big gamer and I really enjoy the MMO experiences I've had so far, but the guilds were full of little kids and people that didn't know much in the way of manners of decency to others. WoW was a bit better than CoH, in terms of that, but I still felt out of place.
That's where OUF comes in.
When I heard that BioWare and LucasArts were forming up to make a Star Wars MMO based in the time period of TOR, I was jubilant (KotOR I & II are my favorite SW games to date). I stopped playing WoW and jumped on the forums, anxious to find people that I could relate to for guild purposes. I researched a decent amount and came across you guys. You seem to have a really honest and respectful approach to running a guild; chill but not tolerant of rude idiocy. I like that.
Basically, I want in, please. You guys have what I'm looking for here.

Welcome to the Order of the Unifying Force. Take off your shoes and stay awhile.

Re: Ban Durm
Welcome!
I am glad we continue to attract gamers of a higher calibre as far as humour and maturity go.
I can honestly only recall one applicant that just really didn't suit us (considering he quickly lost his temper at guild members... not good when you have just applied!)
So again, welcome to you sir!
From your application I can tell that you too appear to suit our family (at least on the surface... O_o).
I'm sunburnt and tired...

Thanks for the welcomes, guys.
I'm a regular on the TOR forums, but not much of a poster. I'm consistently on their.
Look for Kvistor.

Same here. I find there just isn't that many quality posts on the TOR forums. Mostly just bickering between the Anti-SWG2 and the Pro-sandbox crowds.
